Good Things Come in Small Packages: Nov. 2019 Knitcrate

As the old saying goes, good things come in small packages! I received my third knitcrate earlier this week and it is the best yet! The yarn is Knitologie Glowing Worsted in the Betta colorway. It is a blend of 40% superwash merino, 30% silk, and 30% alpaca which results in a gloriously soft yarn. The color is a beautiful deep purple as you will see in the pictures below. Not only do I adore the yarn this month, but the patterns are gorgeous as well! There is a matching cabled hat and fingerless gloves pattern and a pretty crocheted cowl. My previous two knitcrates were great as far the yarns goes, but I wasn’t as impressed with the patterns.

If you are unfamiliar with knitcrate, it is a yarn subscription box that comes with 2 skeins of premium yarn, a pattern booklet with at least one knitting pattern and one crochet pattern, and one small bonus item. This month it was three tea samples. ❤ Last month a received a pretty stitch marker and the month before I got 4 cute buttons that said handmade. It costs $25 a month. If you buy just a single skein from their shop, they cost about the same price! So it’s really a great deal to go with the subscription box. If you want an even better deal, you can get your first knitcrate for just $5 if you use my referral link HTTP://RWRD.IO/EGL0KE5 plus it’s free shipping! You’ll also be doing me a huge favor by earning me a free month. 😉 Go ahead click that link and get yourself some quality yarn for just $5.

Look at that beautiful shine!
Pardon my nails. They’re due for a makeover.

Despite having a few projects on the needles already, I had to start knitting the cabled hat right away. I’ll post a picture of the finished project on my instagram page when it’s finished. 🙂 https://www.instagram.com/briasknits/

  1. That is a beautiful color! And the fabric of two types of wool is glorious! Especially as we head into the cold dark months of winter!
